Κλινική Εμπειρία

• Clinical Fellow και κατόπιν Consultant Παιδικής και Εφηβικής Γυναικολογίας του University College Hospitals, από το 2006-2014.
• Υπεύθυνη του τμήματος Παιδικής και Εφηβικής Γυναικολογίας της Α’ Μαιευτικής και Γυναικολογικής Κλινικής ΕΚΠΑ από το 2009.
• Διενέργεια χειρουργικών επεμβάσεων αποκατάστασης των γεννητικών οργάνων σε εφήβους.
• Παροχή συμβουλευτικής στα κύρια παιδιατρικά και παιδοχειρουργικά νοσοκομεία της Αθήνας, σχετικά με ζητήματα παιδικής και εφηβικής γυναικολογίας από το 2009.
• Συνεργασία με την Ιατροδικαστική υπηρεσία του ΕΚΠΑ για τον έλεγχο σεξουαλικής κακοποίησης σε κορίτσια και εφήβους από το 2018.
• Μηνιαίο ιατρείο Γυναικολογικής Ενδοκρινολογίας στην κλινική Ενδοκρινολογίας του ΓΝΑ Ευαγγελισμός από το 2018.

Ερευνητική δραστηριότητα
1. ΔΙΑΤΑΡΑΧΕΣ ΑΝΑΠΤΥΞΗΣ ΦΥΛΟΥ:

• Μελέτη της μεγαλύτερης σειράς γυναικών με γοναδική δυσγενεσία (Swyer syndrome). H δημοσίευση της μελέτης έχει δεχθεί 180 βιβλιογραφικές αναφορές.
• Εκτενής ενασχόληση σχετικά με την μακροπρόθεσμη προσαρμογή γυναικών με διαταραχές ανάπτυξης φύλου.
• Συμμετοχή στην πολυκεντρική μελέτη CHOICE, σχετικά με τη μετάθεση των επεμβάσεων θηλεοποίησης στην εφηβεία- έναντι της βρεφικής ηλικίας.
• Μέλος της ομάδας εργασίας ADRENAS Gene Therapy in Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia.

2. ΣΥΓΓΕΝΕΙΣ ΑΝΩΜΑΛΙΕΣ ΤΗΣ ΜΗΤΡΑΣ:

• Επίβλεψη της πτυχιακής εργασίας της Αναστασίας Τσιτούρα σχετικά με τη σεξουαλική ταυτότητα των γυναικών με MRKH.
• Επίβλεψη της πτυχιακής εργασίας του Μιχάλη Παναγιωτόπουλου σχετικά με τις μαιευτικές επιπλοκές σε γυναίκες με συγγενείς ανωμαλίες της μήτρας.
• Επίβλεψη της πτυχιακής εργασίας της Βαρβάρας Τριανταφυλλίδη, σχετικά με τη γενετική βάση του συνδρόμου MRKH.

3. ΛΕΙΤΟΥΡΓΙΚΗ ΥΠΟΘΑΛΑΜΙΚΗ ΑΜΗΝΟΡΡΟΙΑ:

• Ολοκλήρωση της διαδακτορικής διατριβής του Αναστασίου Τρανούλη σχετικά με γονιδιακούς παράγοντες και συνήθειες γυναικών με ΛΥΑ.
• Επίβλεψη μεταπτυχιακής μελέτης του Κωνσταντίνου Κουκουμπάνη σχετικά με τα επίπεδα κορτιζόλης σιέλου σε γυναίκες με ΛΥΑ.

4. ΠΡΩΙΜΗ ΩΟΘΗΚΙΚΗ ΑΝΕΠΑΡΚΕΙΑ:

• Μεταπτυχιακές εργασίες των Ανδρέα Καλαμπαλίκη και Σοφίας Ιβανίδου σχετικά με την γενετική βάση της ΠΩΑ

5. PCOS ΣΤΗΝ ΕΦΗΒΕΙΑ

• Εκτενής ενασχόληση επί σειρά ετών για θέματα διατροφής και άσκησης σε νεαρές γυναίκες με σύνδρομο πολυκυστικών ωοθηκών.
• Ολοκλήρωση μετατπυχιακής μελέτης της Μαρίας Ελευθεριάδου.

6. ΠΑΙΔΙΚΗ ΣΕΞΟΥΑΛΙΚΗ ΚΑΚΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ:
Επίβλεψη Διδακτορικής Διατριβής Ανδρέα Καλαμπαλίκη, με θέμα τη βελτίωση των γνώσεων σχετικά με τη σεξουαλική κακοποίηση γυναικών.
